Discovering friendship through dance
Every Wednesday morning at Bella Vista Pocket Park, The Stage Door Performing Arts holds FREE preschool dance classes led by expert instructors, created to foster creativity, motor skills, and friendships.
For Kaidyn, a young student with additional needs, these classes mean more than just dance. His mum shares, “I originally enrolled him as a way to introduce him to the community and be around children his age.”
She continues, “Kaidyn often finds it challenging to make friends, but he has made a special bond with another student at the classes, and he now looks forward to dancing each week.”
