We’re inviting the whole community to be a part of this magical evening celebration, filled with dance performances, facepainting for the kids, henna design workshops, and food trucks offering the best Indian street food.

Glenwood students inspire new mural

Last month we hosted a mural co-design workshop with the team from public art enterprise Muralisto and 25 Year 9 art students from Glenwood High School.

The workshop saw the students contribute to the design process for the new mural at Bella Vista Pocket Park, which will be unveiled later this year. The students learned about native flora and fauna, observed how professional artists work and developed new skills in collage.

We can’t wait to see how Muralisto incorporates the students’ final artworks into our new mural at Bella Vista Pocket Park – stay tuned to future editions of this newsletter for more details in the coming months.

And if you’d also like to get creative, you can join Muralisto at our free Art, Eats and Beats events taking place over two weekends at Bella Vista Pocket Park this month!
