Buchan Avenue extension

Road works to extend Buchan Avenue between Faulkner Way and Soldiers Parade should be completed by mid-August, pending weather.

There were unavoidable delays to works due to the relocation of infrastructure services, significant rainfall and Covid-19. We recognise delays can be frustrating and thank you for your understanding.

The extended avenue includes footpaths, a cycle lane and on-street car parking, and will make it easier for the community to access Edmondson Park Station and the town centre.

Upgrades to Mont Saint Quentin Oval

Upgrade works are continuing at Mont St Quentin Oval. Once complete, the 5ha public park will feature a new amenities building, an all-abilities playground, barbecue facilities and an AFL field.  Importantly, we will enhance heritage items and install interpretive signage to celebrate the military history of the Oval and neighbouring Bardia Barracks, which make up the State Heritage-listed Ingleburn Military Heritage Precinct.

Due to delays from significant rainfall and the impacts of Covid-19, works are anticipated to finish in mid-late 2023.

Improvements to commuter car parking

The new multi-storey commuter car park to the south of Edmondson Park Station opened earlier this year, providing an additional 1,250 commuter parking spaces.

Delivered by Transport for NSW under the NSW Government’s Commuter Car Park Program, users are able to park for free for up to 18 hours with Transport Park&Ride. 

Education program for primary and secondary students 

Did you know we developed an education program to assist school students to investigate the geography, history and heritage value of Edmondson Park?

Students will also learn how the masterplanned development is influencing demographic, economic and social changes.
