Have your say on new open spaces coming to Bella Vista and Kellyville

Landcom and Sydney Metro are working together to develop the land around the Bella Vista and Kellyville Metro Stations. These projects are part of the broader Sydney Metro North West Places Program that will create new communities along the Metro Northwest rail line. 

Landcom is focusing on designing and planning the open spaces in the Bella Vista and Kellyville station precincts. The approved concept provides for approximately 56,000sqm of open space within the Bella Vista Station Precinct and 29,500sqm of open space within the Kellyville Station Precinct.  

There is potential for these to be destination parks that provide expansive areas of high quality green space for locals and visitors from across the North West to visit and enjoy all year-round.

We are now seeking community input to inform the features and future uses of these open spaces. This is your chance to share your ideas and help shape the design of these new open spaces for the current and future community. 

Community consultation is open until Friday 23 February 2024. 

We have launched a new interactive website where you can post your ideas, see where our pop up information sessions are being held, register for an online workshop and learn about the open spaces.

There are a number of ways to have your say. You can:   

• Complete a short online survey open until 29 January about what you like to do outdoors and any ideas you have for the open spaces at Bella Vista and Kellyville
• Comment or provide images on the online ideas boards to tell us what you would like to see in the open spaces for each precinct 
• Attend a drop-in session at Bella Vista or Kellyville Metro Stations or local shopping centres to share your ideas in person 
• Register your interest to participate in a online community workshop
